Welcome to Paso Robles...and the other surrounding five cities!
This week has been a riot! It's been so fun to be back with Hermana Shepherd. We have both learned and grown so much and it's amazing to see how much more powerful we are now. We have fallen back into a rhythm of teaching and working that is just the best! LOVE IT!
Okay. Biggest miracle of the week. Are you ready?
So back story. We get to go to the temple for our birthdays in our mission. Hermana Shepherd's birthday was at the end of January but she hadn't gone to the temple yet, and my birthday is at the beginning of March. It's notoriously difficult slash relatively impossible to find a ride to LA from Paso Robles since it's like a five hour drive. Luckily, there is a bus that goes once a month...
So Hermana Shepherd and I are pondering about how we can make this work. Since we obviously REALLY want to go to the temple. So we go over to the branch president's house and start talking about it. Well, it's like 8:30 at night and he tells us that the temple bus will be leaving at 5:30 the NEXT MORNING!
Okay okay okay. We're going to make this work!
We run out to the car, say a prayer (duh), and then take a deep breath and call President Felix. Please please please can we go? His response..."Sure." WHAT?! MIRACLEEEEE!!! We are so blessed. So we go home and then wake up bright and early and go to the temple and it was AMAZING!!
The end.
Anyway. Aside from our marvelous experience at the temple, this week has been awesome. We have seen lots of miracles and changes in our area already. We are so ready to work and see miracles and I'm just so happy and excited!
Being a missionary is the best. I am so grateful for my covenants and the spirit which leads and guides me daily. I know that this church is true. I love my church! It's the best :)
Oh. p.s. a member brought us bugs to eat yesterday after church. NASTY!
And one of our investigators called us his "novecitas" aka little girlfriends last night. Yeahhh. No. We're probably not going to be teaching him anymore...
Okay that's all!
BYE!
