Just wanted to update you on everyone and say thanks for your prayers this week! They really make a difference because this week has been amazing!!!
Let me just expound my miracle rant. Okay? Okay.
So on Thursday, Gloria and Indalecio passed their interviews and then on Saturday they got baptized!
Seriously such a huge miracle! SO EXCITING! It was the most tender thing when Indalecio started singing along. They are both baptized now and have such a light in their eyes. Indalecio also got the priesthood! So cool. I love him so much. His sweet spirit and his patience and his effort to learn has really touched my heart. I love him
Friday night we talked to a member who wanted to bring her nonmember friend to some Spanish church activities over the weekend. Sunday, we had a FHE based on Because He Lives and we had a ton of investigators there! Which was awesome. Including the member's friend. And she LOVED it.
Okay, so this is Noemi. She is so sweet. She has a 6, almost 7, year old daughter and just moved here from Peru 8 months ago. She's going to be really busy the next few weeks, so we might not get to meet with her too often, but she's totally prepared! And her daughter, Valeria, is sooo cute! I was talking to her after the activity and just told her how much we want to teach her and how welcome she is here and how much God loves her and she just started BAWLING! I LOVE HER!
Later that evening, we got a call from a former investigator we worked with a lot when we first got here and he told us he wants to get baptized and start learning again, so we're meeting with him on Thursday.
So that would be Jose Luis. He thought he could still be baptized on May 9th....nope sorry. But he didn't argue with me about the Book of Mormon last night! KEEP THOSE PRAYERS GOING!!! :)
And, we don't want to forget that our cute children investigators said the prayers in Sacrament meeting, and one of them bore her testimony.
Yes. That happened. So sweet! :)
You could most definitely say that the Lord's hand is in the work here in Santa Barbara. I truly feel blessed to be here at this time, and I know that a lot of these miracles are thanks to the work of past missionaries and inspired members.
Basically the miracles are rolling in and it's amazing to be a part of :)
LOVE YOU AND SO EXCITED TO TALK TO YOU ON SUNDAY!
