So I'm being transferred out of Santa Barbara. I saw it coming. It's time for me to go. This area needs new eyes, and I know too many things about too many people.
I'm going to Camarillo! Hermana Huey and I will be whitewashing into the area, which will be exciting. I LOVE WHITEWASHING. In case you forgot, that means that we will BOTH be new to the area. I don't really know Hermana Huey, like basically at all, so that will be fun, too!
I'll be serving the the Oxnard 5th ward, which is a 100% hispanic WARD! WOOO! I'm excited!! The bishop there has been really influential in the missionary work all throughout our mission, so I'm excited to be in his ward. Plus, I hear they have really good ward counsels which will be SO nice. Also, Hermana Johnson is serving in that ward right now! YAY!! So I'll be serving around her again. SO EXCITED!! We'll see each other at least 3 times a week.
Also, this is exciting. I'm going to be a Sister Training Leader. It's basically the equivalent of a zone leader, but for the hermanas. And I won't be in charge of a zone. But I'll be going on exchanges with 1/3 of the hermanas in the mission! I don't really know what else that entails yet, but I'll find out tomorrow! It also means I get to work with President Felix more which I'm really excited about because I love him!
It's sad to leave this area. It's been a really good area for me. I've been blessed to see several people be baptized and return to church. I've been blessed to see active members have faith prompting experiences in our lessons and with our friendship. I'll miss a lot of the people here and I know that THIS was the time I was meant to be here. I'm just really grateful.
Also, I'm giving away my CTR ring to a recent convert today, so could you send me a new one? ASAP. My finger will feel naked without one!
That's all! GOTTA GO!
I AM SO SO SO SO SO EXCITED FOR THIS NEW AREA AND COMP AND EVERYTHING! Missionary work is the best :)
WRITE ME MAYBE! As in. I like don't get any mail anymore. Grandma and Sister Hansen are the only ones who write me
