So hello everyone! I hope that you are wonderful.
This week has been a roller-coaster! Wow. Crazy stuff.
Most exciting thing is that our awesome investigator Julio is praying about March 7th for a baptismal date! (Aka, also my birthday!) So that's pretty neat. He's super awesome and he's working so hard to overcome problems with the Word of Wisdom. I don't remember if I said this yet, but he's already calling himself a member of our church :) hehe so cool! :) It's amazing because even though it's hard, he's already seeing the difference it is making in his life to live the commandments that God has give us.
Another something exciting is that I took Hermana Carbajal our for her first FROSTY WITH FRIES this week. Can you believe that? Twenty years old and her very first time. That's craziness. And she loved it!
So I love being a missionary. It's super awesome. I was studying in Matthew today and I read this commission from the Savior to His disciples after His resurrection. It says:
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all tings whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
How can we fear or hesitate or doubt when we have that promise and that commission?! It's so cool! There is a footnote for these scriptures that defines "teach" as "preach to, make disciples of." I think that is cool. I think it's cool because as we teach others, through our example, words, and testimonies, we help others to become disciples. When they become disciples, they also receive the promise to have Him at their side always. And BONUS! We have that promise, too! :)
Have a peachy week!
