This week was awesome to say the least.
Okay, I want to keep things short. I loved President Monson's talk. With all the talks about following and supporting our living prophet leading up to his talk, I was anticipating some big announcement or change or
He walked the path of disappointment, discouragement, and despair.
He walked the path of anguish and agony.
He walked the path of temptation and trial.
And He did not succumb.
He walked the path of pain and unjust punishment.
Consider the Garden.
Consider the Cross.
We, as His servants, can expect nothing less.
He walked the path of prayer and fasting.
He walked the path of humility and healing.
He walked the path of courage and faith.
We, as His servants, can expect nothing less.
He taught us to stand up bravely against ridicule.
To lay up treasures in heaven.
To love and serve.
He taught us self-improvement.
He taught us to go to the rescue.
We, as His servants, can do nothing less.
We can walk the path of obedience.
We can walk the path of sacrifice.
We can walk the path of faith.
We can walk the path of hope.
He lived and died that we may gain eternal life.
Ponder the path of His feet.
Ponder the path of yours.
No other choice but Him will lead us home.
We, as His servants, have not other choice.
He is the way.
He will take each step with us.
He will walk each path.
I am eternally grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that He lives. I know that He guides this church. I know that there is nothing more important than Him and all that He can do for us. I love my Savior.
Have a great week!
