Anywayyyyy...
Our area is still wonderful! I love these people so much!! I've been praying lately to be filled with charity and to have my heart be made bigger and I think that God is coming through with that because my heart just feels like it's going to explode sometimes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. :) Also, Alexa got baptized on Saturday! And now she's at girls camp! We helped her pack yesterday and she's so excited! She's a cutie! Another cool miracle was Luis. He's Alexa's dad and previously has been pretty standoffish about learning about the church and was a big obstacle with Alexa getting baptized. Well, on Sunday we talked to him for a bit and he said he will call us this week to set up a time to meet because he likes the things he's learned about at church. Exciting! :) He was totally crying when Alexa got baptized, but shhh, we won't tell anyone :)
My testimony this week is that God answers prayers and fasts. He is in the little details. It's so cool. I have felt him hearing my prayers this week and I have seen him increase my capacity to work and perform the way that He needs me to. There is a man in Santa Paula that I taught named Miguel. He's amazing. But, I found out that he's been a bit less active for the last few months. So I've been fasting and praying for him. Anyway, I was worried he hadn't gotten the past letters I'd sent him, so I came up with a battle plan to get him a letter by sending it to a member who was then going to deliver it to him. This is what she just told me in emails today: "We actually gave the letter to him during Sunday School. He came to church today for the first time in months, gave the closing prayer in Sacrament, and brought a friend with him." :) SO HAPPY!
Man, missionary work is the best!
