I will be staying in Simi Valley with Hermana Carbajal for another transfer!
That means that I will be driving "the boat/spaceship" aka Ford Fusion. One day I'll learn how to park it!
So this week was pretty neat.
We ate Vietnamese food with two Hispanics. Never saw that one coming! Haha, it was pretty funny to hear they try to say the Vietnamese food names in their tender accents :)
We got a call on Saturday afternoon that went something like this:
"Surprise! Can you teach Relief Society tomorrow?"
"...Sure!"
Missionary life ROCKS! :)
This last transfer was a huge learning experience for me. And I have no doubt that the next six weeks will continue to teach me so much about the Atonement and my personal dependence on my Savior.
I have learned that God knows our limits, but when we pick Jesus Christ to be part of our team, all those limits disappear. God challenges us, and it is hard. But He challenges us because He trusts us. He trusts that we can handle whatever comes our way. He trusts that our challenges will make us stronger. And He needs the strong ones. So do we trust Him? Do we trust that He will make us into the soldiers that He needs? Do we trust that He will support us and shape us each step of the way? Do we trust our Father?
I'm so grateful for my Loving Father and His constant support and trust.
Missionary work ROCKS!
Have a good week!
